There’s something special happening at Brooklyn Basin—and it feels a lot more like a neighborhood block party than a typical city gathering. On Saturday, June 27 starting at 4PM, Raider fans from across the Bay are invited to gather along the Oakland waterfront for The Bay Area Nation Community Kick Back at The Lumpia Company inside the iconic 9th Avenue Terminal Building. For future homeowners at Caspian Residences, it’s another example of the vibrant, connected community taking shape right outside your front door.

Co-hosted by Chef Alex and Raider Jay, the celebration brings Raider Nation to the Basin with an afternoon designed for the entire family. Expect neighbors and friends spilling out onto the waterfront boardwalk, music filling the air, and big games playing on oversized screens throughout the sports-viewing patio. The Lumpia Company, co-owned by Bay Area rap legend E-40, has quickly become one of Brooklyn Basin’s most energetic gathering places, blending Filipino-inspired comfort food, craft beer, vintage arcade games, and waterfront atmosphere into a true Oakland original.

The event promises plenty of ways to play and connect, from cornhole tournaments and Fowling, a football-inspired bowling game, to DJ sets, karaoke, and jumpers for the kids. Guests can snack on limited-time favorites including the wildly popular Elote “Mexican Street Corn” Lumpia and Philly Chopped Cheesesteak Lumpia served with fries, while sipping Filipino-inspired craft beers featuring flavors like Calamansi Pilsner, Ube Ale, Mango Soursop Sour, and Mango Wheat. Don’t forget dessert from local favorite The Ube Bae, serving sweet treats that have become beloved throughout the Bay Area.
