Join the fun at Comedy Oakland at The Lumpia Company (288 9th Ave, Oakland), every Friday at 8 pm in the open-air event space each spring and summer or held within the lively indoor sports bar fall and winter, just steps from your new home at Caspian. This award-winning comedy night has been serving up laughs since 2009, named “Best Comedy Night” by the East Bay Express Reader’s Poll from 2016 through 2023, brings industry-pro comedians, rising stars, and big laughs to the waterfront.

Start your evening with a sunset stroll or roller skate along the Basin Boardwalk, then arrive early for dinner at The Lumpia Company. With a menu full of fun twists on Filipino foods, the flavor matches the energy of the night. Try fan favorites like the bacon-cheeseburger lumpia or adobo-seasoned wings, they’re crisp, unexpected, and come with creative dipping sauces. In addition to Calamansi Limeade, Lemonade or Thai iced-tea, select from four Filipino-inspired beers, available as a flight or individually: Calamansi Pilsner, UBE Ale, Mango SourSop Sour, and Mango Wheat. After dinner, settle into waterfront seating under the lights and let the laughter begin.
