Oktubefest Comes to the Oakland Waterfront: A Celebration of Filipino Food, Culture & Community

We celebrated the traditional Oktoberfest at Brotzeit Lokal in September with lederhosen, live music, and Bavarian favorites. Next, get ready for a celebration that's as colorful as it is delicious! On Saturday, October 24, from 2–9PM, The Lumpia Company invites the community to OKTUBEFEST, a free, family-friendly celebration of Filipino food, music, culture, and creativity along the Oakland waterfront at Brooklyn Basin. Taking place during Filipino American History Month, this lively gathering brings together Bay Area bakers, makers, musicians, and local vendors for an afternoon and evening filled with flavor and entertainment. Ube takes center stage at this year's festivities, with an irresistible lineup of purple-hued sweets, desserts, and drinks.
