Summer at Caspian Residences is about more than beautiful waterfront views—it's about living in a neighborhood where every weekend brings something new to discover. From fitness classes along the Basin Boardwalk to outdoor movies under the stars and lively community gatherings, Brooklyn Basin and neighboring Jack London Square offer a full calendar of experiences just beyond your front door. Whether you're meeting friends, trying something new, or simply enjoying the sunshine, this is Oakland waterfront living at its best.

Your weekends can begin with movement along the shoreline. Throughout the season, Soft Focus Yoga brings inclusive yoga Popups to the waterfront on select Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings, inviting neighbors to slow down, stretch, and reconnect in one of Oakland's most scenic settings. To stay up to date on upcoming classes, subscribe to the Soft Focus Yoga Eventbrite page. Every Sunday at 8:30 a.m., Soulful Sundays step class welcomes beginners and seasoned participants alike to the Basin Boardwalk for an energetic outdoor workout overlooking the Estuary. After class, stroll over to nearby Zocalo Coffee & Kitchen or continue your morning exploring Township Commons Park before heading to the weekly Jack London Farmers Market, held along Oakland’s shoreline every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. You'll find seasonal produce, artisan goods, local makers, delicious, prepared foods, and live music all summer long.

Community gatherings continue throughout the season at Brooklyn Basin. Sunday's B.E.S.T. returns to The Lumpia Company every Second Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This summer, July 12, August 9, and September 13 will combine live DJs, Filipino-inspired brunch favorites, specialty desserts, artisan vendors, and a welcoming atmosphere that often spills outdoors into Township Commons Park. Bring your roller skates, relax on the waterfront, and enjoy an afternoon where music, food, and community come together. Be sure to mark your calendar for the High Rollers Club Comedy Show on Saturday, July 25, and through July 19, soccer fans can catch every FIFA World Cup match broadcast both inside and outside The Lumpia Company, creating one of Oakland's most exciting places to cheer alongside fellow fans.

Jack London Square's Waterfront Flicks are returning Saturday evenings from July 11 through August 1 on the Ferry Lawn near Rosenblum Cellars. These free outdoor movie nights begin at sundown (approximately 8:30 p.m.) and encourage guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and takeout from one of Jack London Square's many restaurants. This year's lineup includes Gabby's Dollhouse (July 11), 10 Things I Hate About You (July 18), E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (July 25), and Maleficent (August 1).

At Caspian Residences, summer unfolds naturally—from sunrise workouts and farmers markets to waterfront brunches and movies beneath the stars—making every weekend feel like a staycation along Oakland's remarkable shoreline.
